We are seeking a motivated and dependable Transportation Shuttle Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting guests between designated locations, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for all riders. We are looking for casual, full and part time shuttle bus drivers for this winter season.

Valid Class 2 Alberta drivers license and a clean Commercial Drivers Abstract are required along with at least 5 years experience driving in snow and ice.

The position involves;

Driving a 24/44 passenger bus between Mt Norquay and Banff following scheduled bus routes in all weather conditions.

Performing pre and post trip safety inspections;

Completing reports and driver logs;

Basic bus maintenance.(top off fluids, snow and Ice removal.)

Cleaning the interior and exterior of the bus;

Fueling the bus as needed;

Early cold weather starts.

You must enjoy working with the public and providing good customer service, be willing and able to work in ALL weather conditions. For example -40C at 6am... Snow days are when we do our best work!

Rental Shop Tech -- Winter 2026/2027

Mount Norquay is seeking friendly, reliable, and guest-focused individuals to join our team as Rental Attendants for the remainder of the winter season. This is an exciting opportunity to work in the heart of the Canadian Rockies while gaining valuable experience in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.

As a Rental Attendant, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our guests are properly fitted with safe, comfortable equipment so they can have the best possible experience on the mountain.

Key Responsibilities

Fit guests with appropriate ski and snowboard equipment (boots, skis, snowboards, helmets, poles)
Adjust bindings in accordance with safety standards and manufacturer guidelines
Educate guests on proper equipment use and basic care
Process rental transactions using POS systems
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the rental shop
Inspect returned equipment for damage and ensure proper storage
Assist with tuning, light maintenance, and equipment preparation as required
Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and professional customer service at all times
Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure smooth guest flow

Qualifications

Excellent communication and customer service skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Skiing or snowboarding experience is an asset
Previous retail, rental, or customer service experience is an asset
Ability to learn equipment fitting and binding adjustment procedures

Indoor position with periods of outdoor work helping with snow removal, most time spent on your feet

Lift Operator -- Winter 2026/2027

Objective: To represent Norquay as a helpful and friendly employee who is always happy to provide excellent customer service to our guests, while assisting in the daily operation of our chairlifts in an efficient and safety conscious manner.

Reports to: Lift Supervisor, Lift Manager

Specific Expectations: The most important aspect of your position is to safely and professionally operate a chairlift while maintaining excellent customer service with all of our guests. You are to possess accurate knowledge of Mt. Norquay and the surrounding area in order for you to be as helpful as possible. You are to enjoy working outdoors, and should be capable of a strenuous working environment.

Responsibilities (not limited to, but including):

Follow all Occupational Health and Safety guidelines- your safety is our first priority
Arrive to work on time- punctuality is key
Have strong communication skills in order to effectively work with coworkers and customers
Posses the ability to think quickly in a fast-paced working environment
Follow procedures in accordance with appearance and uniform standards
Ensure customer satisfaction with efficient, friendly service
Handle customer complaints in a professional manner, alerting your supervisor or manager if you need to do so
Perform safety checks on chairlift and fill out safety log
Guide each chair (weighing up to 250 lbs) for passenger loading
Must be familiar with assigned lift: brakes, electrical systems, mechanical drives
Maintain safe conditions by checking loading and unloading ramps constantly
Set up and maintain signs, temporary fences and mazes for chair loading and unloading
Work and stand outdoors in all weather conditions for extended periods of time
Help with crowd control on weekends and holidays
Potentially directing cars in parking lot on busy days
May be required to climb lift towers to access lift motor rooms
Should be in good physical condition, able to lift up to 50lb (ie. Help children onto chairs)

Probationary Period: Each employee has a probationary period of three months, meaning that at any point during your period of employment with Mt. Norquay you can be terminated without cause.

Notice: The Lift Attendant position runs from December through to April. You will be expected to commit to this entire term when accepting this position, unless otherwise agreed upon with Management. If any unforeseen circumstances arise, you are to give Mt. Norquay at least two weeks notice in order for us to hire and replace a new individual for your position.

Cook -- Winter 2026/2027

Reports to: Kitchen Manager, Chef

Specific Expectations: The most important aspect of your position is to maintain excellent customer service while ensuring that you are providing your customers and co-workers with a safe, sanitary, and quality food or beverage product. You will be responsible for following all instructions from Chef, as well as placing an importance on the “clean-as-you-go” attitude.

Responsibilities (not limited to, but including):

Be available to work days, evenings and/or weekends
Have strong communication skills in order to effectively work with coworkers and customers

Ensure that the kitchen is operating in a manner consistent with the programs of Chef
Should be in good physical condition, and lift and carry heavy loads up to 50lb
Must be organized, accurate and reliable
Wash, cut, and prepare foods designated for cooking

Notice: Please note that the year-round Line Cook position varies by season: Winter ski resort operations run from November through April, and Summer banqueting runs from May through October. When accepting this position, you will be expected to commit to the entire term (either Winter or Summer), unless otherwise agreed upon with Management. Should any unforeseen circumstances arise, you must provide Mt. Norquay with at least two weeks' notice so we can hire and train your replacement.

Tube Park Attendant -- Winter 2026/2027

Key Responsibilities:

Provide a safe and enjoyable tubing experience for all guests
